Graduate Assistant and Curriculum Design Specialist
Derek Bentley is a graduate assistant and curriculum design specialist at the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI) for the 2016-2017 academic year. A doctoral candidate in Latin American History at UGA, Derek is an alumnus of the Fulbright-García Robles Research Fellowship program and recently completed a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship, jointly administered by LACSI and the U.S. Department of Education. Prior to enrolling at UGA he completed his B.A. and M.A. in History at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA.
