As part of the Latin American Sustainable Agriculture film series, we will be showing “Children of the Amazon.”
Before the film, we will hear from Felice Wyndham, who worked with the Ayoreo people in Paraguay, about the challenges faced by indigenous peoples when their lands were encroached. Felice Wyndham has a post-doc from the University of Oxford and received a PhD in anthropology from UGA.
After the film, the director, Denise Zmekhol, will interact with the audience via Skype and provide an update about the people and the situation reflected in the film.
