Dr. Robert Moser, from the Department of Romance Languages, will be giving a talk along with Dr. Don Nelson, from the Department of Anthropology. The Tea & Talk will be an opportunity to learn about UGA faculty experience of living and working in Brazil. Daisyane Barreto, president of the Brazilian Student Association at UGA, will also be at the event.
The event is part of the International Education Week, that will be held Nov. 11-15. UGA will join universities around the country to celebrate IEW, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. This week draws attention to the importance of international education and exchanges to scholarship and learning and for advancing global understanding.
